The Situation
A retired couple with a Thai wife and Australian husband held property in both countries, Thai bank accounts, an Australian superannuation fund, and a range of insurance policies — none of it systematically recorded.
What We Did
We conducted four home visits over six weeks, working through each document category methodically. All Thai and English documents were catalogued and the home filing layout was restructured to match the inventory.
The Outcome
The family now holds a bilingual summary and a labelled archive that their adult children in both Thailand and Australia can follow independently. Two referrals to qualified advisors were made during the process.

The Situation
An Italian father, Thai wife and two adult children from the father's first marriage needed to talk through how the household's affairs were arranged. No such conversation had taken place before.
What We Did
We ran three guided sessions over four weeks — two with the couple alone and one with all four family members. We used simple printed frameworks to keep conversation focused and respectful.
The Outcome
All family members left with the same understanding of the household's arrangements for the first time. A shared document inventory was produced and each party received a printed copy of the conversation summary.

The Situation
Following the death of her husband the previous year, a Thai retiree found herself uncertain about what documents she held and where her husband's papers had been kept. Her son in Chiang Mai was equally uncertain.
What We Did
We conducted a two-and-a-half hour home visit, working gently and without pressure through everything that could be located. The session was conducted in Thai throughout. Clear notes were taken wherever information was incomplete.
The Outcome
A printed inventory was produced, including a clear list of items still to be located. The client's son received a copy and was able to follow up on the outstanding items remotely. Two referrals to local professionals were included.
